Oleg Gusikhin is a Senior Director, Data Science & Machine Learning at Ford Global Data Insight & Analytics. Dr. Gusikhin is a Fellow of IEEE, a Fellow of INFORMS and a Fellow of AAIA. For over 20 years, he has been working at Ford Motor Company in different functional areas. During his tenure at Ford, he has created numerous high-impact long-lasting applications for Ford manufacturing, supply chain and connected vehicles, and holds over 100 patents. He is a recipient of three Henry Ford Technology Awards in the Manufacturing, Research, and Product Development categories and the 2014 INFORMS Daniel H. Wagner Priz e for Excellence in the Practice of Advanced Analytics and Operations Research. Carlo Sansone is currently Full Professor of Computer Engineering at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Elettrica e Tecnologie dell’Informazione of the University of Naples Federico II. His basic interests cover the areas of image analysis, pattern recognition and machine and deep learning. From an applicative point of view, his main contributions were in the fields of biomedical image analysis, biometrics, intrusion detection in computer networks and image forensics. He coordinated several projects in the areas of artificial intelligence, biomedical images interpretation and network intrusion detection. Prof. Sanson e is a member of the IEEE and of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR). Brief Bio
Allel Hadjali is Full Professor in Computer Science at the National Engineering School for Mechanics and Aerotechnics (ISAE-ENSMA), Poitiers, France. He is a member of the Data and Model Engineering research team of the Laboratory of Computer Science and Automatic Control for Systems (LIAS). His main area of research falls within Data Science field, and more specifically, the research topics related to Data Exploitation and Analysis (sensor data, semantic data, incomplete data), Knowledge Extraction and Recommendation. His current research interests include Soft Computing and Computational Intelligence in Databas es (Cooperative/Intelligent Databases, Data fusion/integration, Data quality, Data Uncertainty, Data Privacy and Trust), Machine Learning-based Recommendation, Explainable Artificial Intelligence. His recent works were published in well-known journals (e.g., Applied Soft Computing, Knowledge and Information Systems, Fuzzy Sets and Systems, International Journal of Intelligent Systems, Journal of Intelligent Information Systems). He also published several papers in International Conferences (e.g., ESWC, ICTAI, WISE, Fuzz-IEEE, DEXA, FQAS, SUM, ISMIS, IPMU, CoopIS, IFSA, ACM SAC). He co-organized several special sessions, e.g., « Advances in Data Management in the Context of Incomplete Databases » in conjunction with IFSA (2015) Conference and « Uncertainty in Cloud Computing » in conjunction with DEXA (2017) Conference. Emanuele Maiorana received the Ph.D. degree in biomedical, electromagnetism, and telecommunication engineering with European Doctorate Label from Roma Tre University, Rome, Italy, in 2009. He is currently a tenure track Assistant Professor with the Section of Applied Electronics, Department of Industrial, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering, Roma Tre University, Rome, Italy. His research interests are in the area of digital signal and image processing, with specific emphasis on biometric recognition. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security since 2020. He is the r ecipient of the Lockheed Martin Best Paper Award for the Poster Track at the IEEE Biometric Symposium 2007, the Honeywell Student Best Paper Award at the IEEE Biometrics: Theory, Applications and Systems conference 2008, and the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Pattern Recognition Applications and Methods (ICPRAM).
